LAB EXPERIMENT

 

Once the students submitted their samples to you, you will need to prepare them for the lab experiment.  The preparation will depend on the stream you are working on and the high school biotechnology kit you are using.

Optional: You can involve the students when preparing the lab experiment as an extension of their learning of various experimental and laboratory skills.

 Before the lab experiment begins:
   - Preparation of the student group lab station
   - Samples are properly prepared for the experiment
   - Safety protocols were reviewed and understood		  During the lab experiment:
   - Students in their groups will have a lab report to complete
   - Each student group will have resources and documents to record observations and analyze the results
   - Once the experiment is done, all student groups will record and submit their results
